Lip cancers is a type of oral cancer which can occur anywhere in upper or lower lip.They are squamous cell carcinomas.
Sign and symptoms:
Sign and symptoms of lip cancer are as follows;
- Flat or slightly raised whitish discolouration of skin of lips
- A sore on your lip that won’t heal
- Pain or tingling numbness of or skin around mouth
Risk factor
The risk factors for lip cancer are as follows;
- Tobacco use of any kind
- Fair skin
- Excessive sun exposure to lips
