Panic attack

Panic attack are characterised by a variety of physical, emotional and cognitive symptoms that may feel overwhelming and uncontrollable but have a cause and management options.

Most common symptoms of panic attack include increased heart rate.While experiencing panic attack many patients feel as there heart is pounding.Heart palpitations are often fearfully perceived.

Heart rate typically returns to normal as the panic attack subsides.

While having a panic attack you may feel trembling or shaking sensations especially in the arm,feet or hands.Excessive sweating,nausea,vomiting,abdominal pain and choking also occur in panic attack.

Most people don’t vomit during the panic attack,but it is common to feel nauseous during the panic attack.
