Deviated nasal septum occurs when the nasal septum between your nasal passages is deviated to one side.
When deviated nasal septum is severe,it can block one side of your nose and can reduce causing difficulty in breathing.
Symptoms
Most times DNS causes no symptoms,but following sign and symptoms can occur,
- Obstruction of nose
- Nosebleed
- Facial pain
- Noisy breathing during sleep
- Preference of sleeping on a particular side
