Strabismus is visual problem in which there is misalignment of eyes and eyes poibbt in different directions.
Strabismus is a common condition among children.It can also occur later in life.It runs in families;however many people with strabismus has no relatives with the problem.
Types of strabismus
Strabismus has following types in children;
- Infantile esotropia,where the eyes turn inward is a common type of strabismus in infants
- Accommodative esotropia is a common condition that occurs in children 2
- Exotropia or outward turning eye,is an other type of strabismus.This occurs most often when the children is focussing on distant object.
